Daze-Away Camper Rental

Making a new camper-rental business practical to run online.

Daze-Away was a new camper-rental business still taking shape. The owner needed to know whether the digital setup could make it practical to run.

That question shaped the project. Before any design work, we looked at what the business needed its website to do.

We assessed and trialled booking options together, and settled on Wheelbase Pro, an industry-specific booking platform that suited a start-up. The website was then designed and built around the customer journey.

WHAT THE SITE HAD TO MAKE POSSIBLE

  • Let visitors understand the vehicle and the offer.
  • Check availability without back-and-forth.
  • Book and pay in one visit.
  • Keep the owner personally available to customers.

The site enabled Daze-Away to take bookings from launch. Early demand came through aggregator advertising, with bookings completed through the website.

The business has settled at a scale its owners are happy to run. It has the capacity to grow further, but its owners have chosen to keep the business at a level that works for them.

The work did not stop at launch. Vehicle-page content, search-focused pages, FAQs and structured information continue to be improved as the business develops.

A live Google review widget was also added to the website, so recent customer feedback appears automatically. As part of the post-rental process, Daze-Away invites every customer to leave an honest Google review. This has helped it build a substantial body of five-star feedback.
